ULTRAMELT induction furnace series is being manufactured after a long terms of research and development by examining the high tech induction furnaces around the world and asking the foundryman its needs and inquiries. The world is getting smaller and automized foundry plants have been established as the competition is getting fierce with the globalization around the world. By purchasing an EGES Ultramelt-i (intelligent) induction furnace system with PLC you will make your first step in building an automized foundry plant. The new EGES series is built as the most affective and economic system for the foundries of 2000's.

ULTRAMELT Standard System This system consists of one converter and one or two furnaces. Power can be given to a furnace at the same time and it is switched the other furnace by a pneumatic transfer switch. It is one of the most popular system among EGES's production range. The system is everlasting as its maintenance is kept still and was given "excellent" grade by its users.
MELT & HOLD System The system has the same basis with the Extended Power Induction system as it consists of two converters one for melting and the other for holding purpose and two furnaces. While melting on a furnace at the same time it can give holding power the second furnace in order to keep the molten metal at stable temperature and increase the productivity.
The advantages of MELT & HOLD system, 1. Investment coast is more economic then Dual inverter systems such as; Dual Track and Twin Power 2. Since melting power applied to furnaces is %100, therefore melting rate is approximately %10 higher then other systems. For instance in 6 ton furnace your surplus melts is 20 tons per day in 3 shifts. 3. Two independent converter increase the security. Even holding converter is out of order, you can continue with melting converter, or if melting converter is out of order you can finish casting process without metal losses.
EXTENDED POWER System Extended Power Induction system similarly works with other manufacturers "Dual Track" or "Twin Power" systems. The only advantage given difference is; It consist of 2 full melting converter. On this system; There are two converters at same power. Both for melting at full power range. In practice one converter is used for melting while the other one is used for holding or melting. Power can be "0" to Max on each furnace in any ratio depending on application in order to keep the molten metal at the same temperature and increase productivity.
TRIPLE FURNACE System "TRIPLE FURNACE SYSTEM" is designed to use the converter energy as much as possible, and eliminate idle times, during a melting period. To do this there are; - Two converters; Converter A and Converter B
- Three furnaces; Furnace 1, Furnace 2, Furnace 3
are used. As shown on power sharing diagram, during 200 min. Melting period, all energy has given to melt the metal except transfer times between furnaces which are approximately 10 seconds each. Only EGES high tech. pneumatic controlled transfer switches give such a short time. If PROMELT Control Program is used, energy sharing between furnaces are arranged more efficiently by computer control program. |
